‘The time the orchestra spent with us will be remember by all for many years to come, they brought with them an energy and vehemence that could be felt both in their presence and skilful execution of the music they shared with us. Many of our patients and families are going through a challenging and often sacred moment in their lives, music is recognised by many in the health profession as having a direct positive effect on emotions and healing for people in need. The Oxford Alternative Orchestra were able to carry out this role to great effect, many of our patients and families commented on what a difference their music had made, something we are all grateful for here at Sobell House.’
